Eclat D'Arpege Eau de Parfum Spray
About this deal
It's sad I'm torn because I love the freshness and green quality of this scent, and if only the synthetic quality never existed it would be an easy replenish.
It is not very strong which makes you want to overspray at times, because you will feel like it isn't there anymore. Please consult your doctor before taking any new product, particularly if you are already under medical care. This fragrance is inspired by love, in the broadest sense of the word: brotherland love, romantic love or even love of life.
I know that many people criticize its durability, but I think there is a judgment based on the lack of projection and the excess of the gentleness of the fragrance. At first spray, it's a very citrusy, bright, clean scent but the floral notes quickly came through (at least on my skin they did). Interesting enough, I also tested Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet when I bought this, and I find it's in the same family of light fresh floral.
My favorite flowers are peonies and osmanthus, and I also adore all varieties of lavender, as well as musk and amber. It’s such a shame, I would have worn this everyday for my entire life and been happy, I loved it that much! It's such a beautiful and delicate scent of a forest fairy, or perhaps even a mermaid since it smells a bit aquatic to me. Eclat d’Arpege opens like the spring with the brightness of Sicilian lemon and the delicate powdery floral rush of lilac. I sprayed this 30 minutes ago and it's already a shadow, even with the scented body lotion as a base. The fresh green aroma floats beautifully over the sweet powdery floral I get from this perfume in a way that reminds me of a brisk yet enjoyable breeze. Hard to pick up individual notes which is what I absolutely love in perfumes - it makes them smell mystical and divine. The green scent that seemed to predominate at first is perfeclty blended into light floral and very soft musky woody notes. Smells like a spring/early summer morning, the sun has just come up and dew on the grass and garden flowers is sparkling. There was a rave about this perfume when I was freshman in high school, but I couldn't find it anywhere because online retail was not a thing back then.
While our fragrances are genuine, they will not come in the branded retail packaging, and we refrain from using any trademarks or logos. On my skin I smell sweet lilac, dewy tea leaf, and lots of juicy apricot- maybe it's the peach blossom? It comes in the most wonderful packaging, a translucent box, opened from top, with this minimalist round, art deco style bottle (a study in design, really) containing an ethereally lilac liquid. it has the same softness and daintyness as miss dior blooming bouquet although they don't smell similar. And on my wedding day I was the luckiest woman alive, I married the perfect man and wore the perfect scent!
As it dries, the evolution is quite subtle, but the amber gives to the background a little more dryness. The cedar and the amber are not detectable as stand out notes but really just serves as a soft anchor in the background.Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege Eau De Parfum (100ml) is a fruity floral EDP for women with a light and sparkling, sophisticated composition, perfect for summer wear. The contemporary EDP is an intricate whirlwind of emotion – bright, encompassing and deeper than it appears. It smells like an actual lilac blooming on my skin that I love it so so much, which I have to thank my chemistry for, I guess? And from the many scents I own this is the one who receives the most compliments, each time I wear it. I picture someone who wears this perfume to be strikingly beautiful, tender, gentle, caring, delicate, fragile, and almost angelic.
