Another factor that can be a great indication of product quality is the brand. Brands like OEX are of course extremely well known, especially for 1 – 2 Person Tents. One downsides we found with this tent is that it isn’t long enough for someone over 6′. Your toes will be pressed against the end of the tent. It says it is 220cm long inside, but when you factor in the steeply sloping end of the tent plus then you add your sleeping mat on top, there is a lot less than 220cm to play with. The Phoxx seems to have a bit more internal length and just about suffices for someone over 6′. There’s so much information available online when we’re shopping now, that it’s easy to find lots of detail about products like OEX Phoxx 2 Tent. This is of course really helpful, but there’s almost too much information available, so it’s important to know exactly what you’re looking for. We’re really pleased to have scored OEX Phoxx 2 Tent so highly, givimg it 9.7 out of 10, making it well above the average for all 1 – 2 Person Tents.

There are however some methods that you can use to determine a product’s quality without needing to physically have it. The feel and look of the tent are great and it felt very homely once the lantern was on the go and snuggled up in the sleeping bag. There was plenty of room to put up the OEX Ultralite Stool which worked perfectly for holding the lantern and my mobile. Comparison 🔥🔥🔥🔥 That’s why we’ve pulled together this list of key factors for OEX Phoxx 2 Tent below, to help you choose if it’s the right product for you and your budget. Condensation didn't prove to be much of a problem although there was a slight sheen on the inner tent in the morning and the functionality of a door on each side of the tent made a huge difference as you're able to move in and out with less bother and create a good current of air to ventilate the tent. We also found that, for a tunnel tent, there was more than adequate head room in the tent which gave it a spacious feeling, which would be needed if two were sharing the tent. Pre-angled Endura Poles give sturdiness to inner tent I’d been using the OEX Phoxx 1 for a couple of years and was very pleased with the stability in high winds and driving rain on my wild camps. So when it came to wanting to share the experience I instantly went for the Phoxx 2 as a cheap solution for my next budget shelter. I was used to the setup which is exactly the same as the Phoxx 1, so it was a clear choice without offending the wallet. The extremely low profile of the OEX Phoxx 1 enables you to pitch the tent in some fairly exposed areas. I’ve had it up in 40mph+ winds and driving rain and it never failed. In terms of performance, the OEX Phoxx 2 excels in most conditions. Its waterproofing held up well during a rainy night, keeping me dry throughout. Although, I'm not sure how well it would stand up to snowy conditions so it will be worth investigating over winter.
